Orchid Weekend Workshop in Canberra

The Orchid Society of Canberra is hosting a workshop on the weekend of 8 - 9 March 2008 at the Sundown Motel Resort, Jerrabomberra Avenue, Narrabundah, in Canberra.

Murray Shergold of Easy Orchids and Bill Miles of Orchid Species Plus will be the guest presenters. Both presenters are predominantly growers of species orchids. Together they grow an extensive range of native and overseas species orchids. In addition to discussing the culture of these orchids, Murray and Bill will have plants and orchid supplies for sale.

There will be morning and afternoon presentations on Saturday, starting about 10am, and a morning session on Sunday. A registration fee of $55 covers a barbeque lunch on both days as well as morning and afternoon teas. A dinner will be held on Saturday evening at the Sundown bistro at the expense of participants.
The Workshop is being held on the weekend prior to the long weekend created by the Canberra Day holiday. There is a limited enrolment of 55 so intending participants may wish to make such arrangements well in advance of the Workshop.
